Hi Ashley! I first read a reference to Japan’s microseasons in a comment thread on Instagram last March. The writer was recommending the app “72 Seasons” which is a lovely creation written by a team in Japan. As an avid hiker, the idea of microseasons instantly resonated with me. All of the nature photos I’ve taken and all of the nature study I’ve done over the last 20 years suddenly snapped into a neat grid in my mind-- I was overjoyed!
I just came across your sub and I am so curious about the origin of micro seasons. How did you find out about them?
