Marrying imagination with nature. It reminds me of C.S. Lewis's Narnia as well. You really captured mysterious paths and objects that are posing as ordinary but-that's next level! We could fear getting lost in that imagination!
Oh man! Sometimes we want/need to get a little lost, don’t we? I doubled down on my hikes at the start of the pandemic as a way to escape from the constant fearful news of death and suffering. Time outside became more important to me than ever.
i loved Piranesi but was so excited by the plot that i didn’t let myself imagine the world as much. sounds like i’m due to revisit it and be a Scientist myself.
Conny, we're alike that way! Thank you for always reading with honesty and insight.
Beautiful, beautiful.
You're so kind-- thank you!
I will be pulling from my imagination when I go walking today, thank you Ann!
I hope you had a joyful walk, Donna!
This was so beautiful. Thank you!
So glad it served you, Jessica!
Ann -- I love how Piranesi by Susanna Clarke inspired you to create a beautiful world of your own. Thank you for sharing it with us!
You recently shared leaves with writing on them. The next day... I picked up some leaves and wrote on them!
Rippling great stuff! Almost as delicious as your luna moth creation!
Your enthusiasm brings me joy-- thank you! Ripples are beautiful.
Oh my gosh, Ann ~ this was incredibly lovely. You have a poetic eye and soul. Thank you. 💚
Roseanne, thank you!❤️
What an enchanting and playful journey to go on with you. I so enjoyed reading this! 🌲✨
I should mention too that my favorite part was the Peaceful Eye 👁️

I love re-visiting a good book. It’s so interesting to see new details and all of the care that the author has put into the work. Enjoy!
I love everything about this post! You have me thinking about some new ways to present the stuff in my head.
YAY! Isn’t it fun to feed each other’s creativity? I love how ideas spread and bounce from mind to mind!!! 💥
