Thank you, Neil. I was curious about that old Beech tree, which had lost a huge section in a wind storm last year. A family of squirrels have made a home up there now.
What an exquisite, heartfelt, generous blessing of a letter to send from out of your own difficult season, Ann. Every picture and every meditation is a gift. Thank you; holding you in springtime light. 💛🌿
Hi Ann, lovely walk upon the trail. Good to see your gentle words upon the page and pics to accompany. Know you be carried as as a lamb in this season.
Something about the colour in your photos, and the light, is magic. And I love how you conceive of The Maker as Artist, Creator, Poet, Caretaker, personified but not embodied, except in Creation itself. Wonderful stuff.
I am so touched and moved by this, Ann. First, it is wonderful to hear from you. I have missed your words. But, I understand the need to pause and focus inward and the feeling of a never-ending winter. I so hope that, as spring slowly arrives, you will also feel the healing, opening of life once again.
Every single word you wrote in this post spoke to me - of, rather, it was as if you were speaking for me. I will copy and save these words and thoughts and reflections of yours in my journal. So beautiful. So perfect. So true. Love and warmth to you, friend. xx
Liz, your letters have been feeding me all through this long winter. Thank you, my friend, for the nourishment of your love and wise perspective. I'm so humbled to have a place in your journal. xx
This was just beautiful. Thank you. I’ve seen ferns & wildflowers this week too. And nesting birds and, in the forest, pops of green through the gray leaf litter. Love those beech tree eyes & the tree eclipse! 💗
Beautiful. Nature truly amazing.
Oh thank you, Wren!
Oh, Ann. Thank you for this beautiful and timely gift. It made me cry in the best way.
So much love dear one. xoxo
That Tree Eclipse photo is stunning, Ann. Excellent Rumi quote as well.

Ahhhhhh...such kindness! Thank you for reading. 💛🌿
Fresh from a family funeral, where so many asked, what can we do? —
“When someone asks what there is to do,
light the candle in his hand.” (Rumi)
— I had to gasp; breathtaking. Thank you.
Holding you in the light, Daniel, with much love.
I love seeing the heart formed by the bloodroot leaves, so precious! This was a wonderful sharing Ann, thank you so much 💗
I hoped that little heart might be noticed. Extra love to you dear Emma! 💚

Beautiful seems inadequate--what a magnificent and gracious post this was!
I feel blessed by your reading, Jason!
