The poem that speaks to me the most is the one asking for permission to go home. As if a time frame for which you're allowed back in has lapsed and you're at someone's mercy to be allowed back home. Wonderfully written Ann. The colour composition in the collage by Duane is just amazing. Beautiful work you've both created!

Thanks so much for letting me know what thoughts arise for you. Once a poem is written it belongs to you as much as me. And you know how Duane's energy adds an X factor that is high-octane fuel for making . . . a Third Thing!🔥

That's it! Duane adds magic and that third thing! I agree with you. It's great when you've made a reader feel home with what you've written/created/composed.

That's the best compliment I could hope for. Making a safe & welcoming space is what I'm always hoping for--both here and in my clinical work. What an honor to hold the space between us with an open heart.

Thanks so much! I loved the concept, and that feeling of hopeful melancholy that it stirs. I tried my best to conjure it up in a visual way that would take it further.
